AbstractAt present, China's economy has entered a transition stage of "new normal". With the economy facing long-term structural problems, the supply-side reform that requires the transformation and upgrading of cultural industries in order to adapt to the development of cultural consumption is imperative. Based on the analysis of the interaction between cultural consumption and economic growth, this paper uses VAR model and cointegration to test the measures of residents' cultural consumption and economic growth between the short-term interactive dynamic mechanism and long-run equilibrium relationship. With the economic growth, cultural consumption and cultural industries have entered a phase of new development opportunities. In order to promote the transformation and upgrading of China's cultural industry, we should optimize the development environment of the cultural industry, formulate the development plan of China's cultural industry and form a new mechanism for the development of the cultural industry.
